Just need a 13 pin plug, about an hour, a bit fiddly, just make sure you get the correct colour wire to the correct pin.

Just go to a caravan outlet they will have an adapter, my car had black & grey sockets, the new van is a 13 pin socket, so changed the car sockets to the 13 pin.I wished now that I had stuck with black & grey and bought a adapter to fit the van for I have a friend who has a low loader car trailer, which I cannot use because of the plug arrangement.

The quickest way would be to buy a converter lead like this one

http://www.thecaravanshop.co.uk/towing-equipment/euro-uk-13-7-pin/7-pin-to-13-pin-adaptor/prod_425.html

But fitting a new plug is relatively easy.

You can buy a single 13pin socket to 7pin plug adaptor from Halfords if thats what you mean.

I am Changing my caravan This weekend, the new van is 13 pin and the old one was 2 x 7 pin.
I did not want to use adapter as I would rather wire it properly. I went back to the dealer that fitted towbar adapter would cost £28.00 but fitting 13 pin is £40.00 including bits so I opted for that.

You will find the adaptor caravan twin plug to car single socket quite cumbersome & you will probably need a piece of cord looped around to hang on hitch or risk dragging on ground. However for your trailer 7pin plug you can buy a small single 7pin to 13pin which is much neater & easier to use.

Thinking about it, you will also need to know the colour convention of your current 12n & 12s plugs. Here's another link that explains that.
