The advice on caravan noseweight is that it should be about 7% of the caravan's MTPLM so if you look below the caravan door it should give the MIRO and MTPLM then just calculate the 7% which will give you the figure. You can use an online percentage calculator to work it out which is provided in the link.

If your vehicle is recommended to accept a maximum towball weight of 75kgs. (which is the same as my car) then you have to do some planning to get the noseweight down to around 70-75kgs. 7% of my MTPLM is actually 84kgs. which is too heavy so I had to reduce my noseweight to around 10 kgs. less. The weight of the motor mover is exempt because it's basically not far from the axle so you can still juggle things around to get the balance right. If you think of a child's see-saw, the caravan is identical except that the front is heavier thus giving you the noseweight so it's slightly off centre. However, there are things that you can do achieve a lower noseweight such as obtaining a smaller and lighter leisure battery if the battery box is near the front end or likewise if the hot water tank is near the front then try draining the water plus remove everything from the front locker apart from the two gas cylinders and a pair of lightweight ramps and chocks etc. as it all contributes to making the hitch lighter. Once you have ahieved the correct noseweight then you know basically how to load your caravan and any other heavy items can be loaded inside the van directly over the axle. With reference to the motor mover it doesn't come into the caravan's MTPLM, it is calculated on your payload which means basically you have to carry 30kgs. of equipment less. I haven't got a motor mover so I don't have to take this into account regarding the caravan payload.

The recommended noseweight should be between 5% - 7% with a legal minimum of 4%.
My cars noseweight of 75kg is just over 6%.

I had a 2001 Colchester 500eb, and I used to load it so that the noseweight was about 85Kg, the max for my Passat. With an MTPLM of 1290Kg that made it 6.6%

There is more to noseweight than a simple % calculation.
Your car handbook will state the maximum noseweight the vehicle can handle.
Either on tow bar itself or the tow ball if detachable, there should be a label stating the maximum noseweight the tow bar is rated for.
If you have an Alko chassis, then the maximum noseweight the (stabiliser)hitch can handle is moulded into the metal. If a Winterhoff hitch refer to its manual as there are a few hitch versions.
Of these 3 weights always work with the lowest, then you will be safe with all of them. You shouldn't exceed this value in an attempt to reach a % value.
As regards x2 gas bottles, do you really need both? If you spend most of your time on EHU, one gas bottle lasts a very long time - we stopped carrying the weight of the second ones ages ago.
