Been on Comparason sites for motor insurance for my daughter.The cheaper quotes are £400 less than her renewal. she cannot afford the renewal,however ,the cheaper companies have many poor reviews.Having said that ,the majority of the Ins Companies have many poor reviews.
Has anyone had positive experience of any of these budget companies? ( Insure,Octagon,Sheila's Wheels,ThePolicy Shop etc)

No but if you buy cheap (fully understand the need to do so) the reviews are going to be poor. It only becomes an issue guess in the event of a claim and the insurance company does have a legal obligation.it's just more of a tortuous route to get them to meet their obligations.
