The Peugeot 405 doesn't have springs. Is torsion bar suspension so auxiliary springs is what's needed. I have a friend who part owns an auto factors and he can get a set from a firm called grayston, I just want to be sure they'll do what I'm wanting before getting them.

Ah right, not familiar with Peugeots. Thats a shame.

I think your mate might be making the same mistake as me though.

As far as I'm aware Grayston Spring Assistors are for coil springs only, (might be wrong though).

You might have to consider something like Monroe Load Levellers,   combined shocks with coil springs.
