Hi Guys
I just wanted to share that I towed our caravan for the first time today, Yippee!!! (she's a 22ft twin wheeled old crappy!) and I can't stop grinning that I achieved this.
I know it's no big deal for most, but I was really nervous to start with and had white knuckles most of the way!!
But thankfully OH who has towed anything and everything was sat beside me with lots of advice and guidance.
We went from Thornton Le Dale to Bridlington (to drop it off at the compound) and I managed roundabouts, narrow roads and a really tight corner, as well as reversing!!
So I guess there's no excuse now, we'll be sharing it from now on (not ready to do it solo yet, but hey its a start)
Anyhow, just wanted to share my first time
Best wishes Sam

Well done Sam- your proof that towing isn't something to take fright of. I began in 1985 with a mk2 new Astra 1.3 towing my little Ace. Dad took me out , went about 5 miles and -dad said - yeah your ok - happy towing!
