You may have seen in the CC magazine about the tech service bulletin relating to sorentos prior to Nov 2008.They say it's not an official recall, but I've just got off the phone to my Kia dealer and he says it is a recall. I am putting mine in on Tuesday.

It's not a recall but what they call a TSB LOCAL.

I asked the AA whether they have any information concerning a 'Recall' on this corrosion problem.

I have had a response

The essence of the response is: "There is some information which indicates that Kia is dealing with this problem, but it appears to be by means of a technical service bulletin to dealers. There is no sign of a recall from VOSA."

I had mine done 2 weeks ago, takes about 2 hours.(Free of course)

There is also a recall for brake light switch on 07-11 sorrento,shortage and other models in the Kia and Hyundia ranges. I have got to take the OH shortage in next week.

I thought they were getting recalled because they could not tow off on damp grass,

Top gear rules them out as to expensive to run
