A section of the A30 in Devon was blocked today after a crash involving a caravan.
A Skoda Octavia car was towing the caravan westbound at Whiddon Down, near Okehampton, when it crashed leaving the caravan on its roof.

There are parts of the A30 that need looking at, some bits you drive up a hill, then the road drops steeply the other side with some quite sharp bends, they are bad enough when solo, but add the weight of a van and if you dont drop down a gear or 2 on the way down to help keep your speed down, you will be a goner
The 2 bends that you mention, They are bad,sharp bend to the right then down a very steep hill, Its ok if you know the A30, But folk dont respect it, Police say its a very good road, Its the users that are bad. I see many a van in match sticks there.Plus the freak gusts of winds you get take towers by suprise
