Saab 9-3 convertible.

double check there is a towbar for this,some convertibles are not designed to to tow.

Nice cars I have a 1.9 diesel (07) nice to drive fast and pretty economical.I don't tow with it as we have a Sorento as well.

We were next to a couple towing with one at Cirencester Cc site a couple of years ago.

I would also check the bulkhead for cracking, apparently if its cracked its an mot fail,

find the wheeler dealer episode where Edd China does one up and points this out, he used some different brackets to stop it happening to there one

According to my Haynes manual the current model came out in Sept 02 until sept 07 , it was then facelifted (57 reg) for the last models. I don't think the cracking is an issue on this model.

Ther's no problem getting parts as Saab parts is a separate company so was not affected by the shutdown.

Rumours have it that they are hoping to resume production of the 93 as Saab is owned by  a company called NEV, which is looking to produce hybrids and electric vehicles.
