Hi, could you tell me, is it easy to change a towing ball from swan neck to a Alko towing ball,I have got skoda octavia 1.9 diesel auto 2007.

If you have a swan neck ball you dont need an ALKO ball its already the right one.

Only the old towballs need to be changed.

As above. Swan neck will be ok for an alko hitch.

Hi,the swan neck is no good,because of sleeping policeman I need to higher it up,steve

If thats the case you need to renew the suspension.

Towballs will be a standard height. 350 - 420mm from the ground to the centre of the ball.

Whether a flanged one or a swan neck.

If its lower and the towbar has not been damaged you need to check the suspension.
