Try doing 10secs googling before you post Bob, then your posts might make more sense. A Captiva is much the same size as an Octavia not an Escalade.

The 'Chevys' sold in the UK are Daewoos. Cheap, with a 5yr guarantee & only worth considering if you want to get a good few yrs out of it. Anybody intending to trade in after 2-3yrs should look elsewhere.

why do Yank vehicles have 2 front passenger seats, one for each cheek

We wanted to trade our car in many years ago and knew exactly what we wanted for the PX. Stated this to the salesman and he goes off to talk the boss but, no, still can't meet the price. So we walk out, saying oh well thanks then. Next day, he rings DH, we have a deal at the price we wanted . So walking away, can work. But you have to be sure that you are not going to go back. Well unless they offer you what you want.
