I bought a 2011 mondeo from polar ford Runcorn in October, requiring a towbar with a 13 pin socket I asked them how much??? their reply astounded me....we will charge you £550+vat. Wow was my reply or you could just ask Chester towbar for a price as that's where we take them the sales man said, or another we use are united towbar who are mobile and come to your home. So I picked up the phone and was told £350 at Chester towbar and they confirmed they fit all bars for Polar and united was £250 inc so guess who I used, they even come to my place of work and fitted it and it never invalidates the warranty.
