Why don't caravan makers fit a mover as standard
piece of equipment ? Most vans seem to have them fitted .

Presumably because it would add around £1000 to £1500 to the cost and you have only really needed them since Al-Ko started using their effective but very awkward to fit wheel lock.

Surely the people who want them are unable, either because of age, physical limitations or inability, to reverse a caravan of any description. Cost is the obvious answer, but
maybe there would be a market for it.

Most?   My storage site is fairly large and i would say about of about 120 plots. Only 15 caravans have movers.

I only fitted some because of health issues, The storage spot cannot be reversed into because the caravans opposite.

I can get it close but my car almost touches the hitch on the caravan opposite.
