has anyone towed with a ford c-max,if so i would like to read your comments on the albility of the car

My friend does and as far as I know he is happy. He's not backwards when it comes to caravans and things so I'd take this as a positive haha

Without stating engine option fitted to car & the weight of the caravan you intend to tow the question is not really answerable in any form that would be useful to you..

I have a 06 cmax 1.8 tdci 115bhp , tows my fleetwood with no problems
Total weight for the van is 1168 kg , you won't break any land speed records up hill but I find mine to be a good tug .

I am thinking of buying a c-max 1.8 petrol has a bit more power than the diesel. but living on the IOW cars tend to be a lot dearer and in short supply!

The diesel would still make a better towcar as it has more torque but if car spends most of its time on IOW then a petrol is a better choice if most use is short runs with no motorway driving.

That's what I thought, don't get over the mainland that often, and a diesel would be wasted here.

hi there,newby here and just wanting to know if an one one here has towed with a zafira gsi as i have just bought a 2007 bailey pageant burgundy and not towed it yet as i still have to get a tow bar fitted on it yet hoping to fit a west falia swan neck on it,thanks Paul
