I tow a large single axle van, I did a towing course before we got our first van and that helped my confidence, but practice is the real help. I now do most of the towing, often taking the van and children and setting up ready for when hubby can get home from work, otherwise we'd never get away at a reasonable time of day!

The more I tow the more confident I get. Tell her to have a go it'll get easier each time she tries.

I have just come back from our first caravan holiday, and took my turn towing, as I should.

I have never towed a caravan in my life, but have towed my sailing dinghy for years, and although I was nervous, took my time, and arrived safely.

I was so proud of myself, I reversed onto the pitch first time!!

My point is, there is so much written about WOMEN towing.

There are lots of women out there who tow caravans.  A little bit of encouragement from their husbands goes a long way!!!!!

  Tell if she wants to go away she will have to tow it, as long as you have the confidence she will not have a problem.

 Providing she takes it slow and easy she will get more and more cofident.

 Oh and make sure she knows that when your back to fitness again you will want to take turns at towing.

 It will be interesting to see how much she enjoys it.
