Hello
after recently purchasing a trailer, I need some advise on securing the secondary coupling chain. Now on the caravan I just loop the breakaway around the towball as its designed to snap, but as the trailer coupling has to stay put im not to sure on the best practise.
Below are 2 pics of where I can only attach it as I have no eyelet on towbar and realisticaly leave enough slack to let the coupling head pivot upwards & stop it from hitting the floor were it to seperate.
any advise would be more than welcome, as I can use this method on my motorbike trailer also.
thanks
