You need to know the MTPLM of the caravan and the kerbweights and towing limits of the cars. If you have a post 1997 licence you will also have to check that you are not exceeding the weight permitted by your licence.
If the van is 1500kg that is probably about the same as the Insignia kerb weight so not a good match, it would be around a 95% match for the Kuga but if you are a novice tower that's a bit higher than recommended.
