If want a benchmark for comparison, try Bank Farm Trailers. I use the Newport branch but there's one in Plasmarl, Swansea - I think that's the original HQ. Bank Farm are possibly market leaders in south Wales - have been going for years - Witter towbar and Ifor Williams trailer specialists, and I know that Newport branch do a lot of towbar fits for main dealers as they do such a reliable job.

No nonsense people, know their stuff and fair prices. They fitted a Witter fixed bar system in 2006 on my then new Sorento and recently installed a full Hyundai/Witter fixed bar and full wiring loom system to my new Santa Fe. Proper Hyundai warranty approved job with automatic sensing and de-selection of rear sensors and rear fog lights (amongst other benefits) when hooked up to the caravan. Not your standard fit but got them appointed by Hyundai UK when supplying dealer (not south Wales dealer I need to add for legal reasons!) failed to fit approved system I asked and paid for!

Very capable fitters whatever tow system you end up choosing. Give them a call and no I'm not on commission - just like to recommend reliable local suppliers that won't rip you off unlike a lot of main car dealers who charge a premium margin for what in many cases is just raising an aftermarket/accessory invoice!!

Hi I had a towbar fitted by Britannia towing in morfa road swansea ,on a ford focus it cost me 200 pounds.

my new to me chrysler needs a towbar,company i rang is in sheffield,they fit at home or work and that is 325,so not bad,just google towbar fitting in your area.
