Does anyone have this outfit if so how does the santé fe perform stability and performance wise.

Which model? Year, petrol/diesel manual /auto?
I have the 2.2 auto diesel 7 seater 2013. Tows really well. Van is about 1560 kg. Has self level suspension and raised nose weight limit for auto at 100kg. Much more economical than previous Land Cruiser.Has many other gadgets which help towing.

Hi mister G THE model probably a 2008 2010 2.2 diesel manual caravan is 1750kg I have towed big vans for years didn't want to buy a santé fe only to find it is not up to the job I have a shogun sport 2.5 manual diesel good on stability but under powered and not good on fuel with van in tow cheers Alan.

Trailer stability assist. Self levelling suspension and some models also have a reversing camera, great for hitching up.

I shouldn't think any suitable car pulling a caravan of that weight would be that economical on fuel.

My caravan only weighs 1500 kgs but the 2010 Santa Fe 5 seat tows as well and as stable as the 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD that it replaced.

Other gadgets not mentioned above by bobajob are cruise control, max speed control, auto hold, 4 wd on demand, gearing can be set to change earlier and manual override of gears. Most of it new to me so still learning.

Adjer - it might be worth doing a search for "Santa Fe " on here to get the right model.
