Morning all. We are thinking of buying our first caravan. Been camping for twenty five years, but the old bones are finding it hard to peg etc! We need a smallish caravan to fit on driveway and have narrowed down to Lunar Venus or Ariva 2 berth. Any advice would be gratefully received! Thanks

It depends what else you want of a car apart from towing. Typically the towing is only a small proportion of vehicle use. If you are just looking for the normal family car then a 1.9tdi of pretty much any make will do the job admirably. The Ford Mondeo and Volkswagon Passat make very good tow cars but many others besides.

The Lunar Arriva would be my choice over the Lunar Venus .
both good vans but the arriva is more expensive and has better quality fittings
