Hi all, newbie caravanner here with a small issue, hope you don't mind a bit of advising!

We have an abi marauder 450ct (1990/1) with an Alko chassis and 'Alko' pressed on the hitch And an Inline gas strut. Does this require a alko towball?

Standard non stabilised hitch doesnt require an ALKO ball and should be greased to prevent wear.

The picture shows a standard hitch, therefore the ball should be greased

Alko make many things. They make most caravan chassis. They made my lawn mower. They also make a caravan friction stabiliser device fitted to many caravans but not yours apparently.
If you do have the stabiliser fitted then you will need an Alko towball which has a slightly extended neck and you would not grease it.
