Im going to porthmadog from shrewsbury towing a caravan whats the best route have heared the A4212 from bala then onto A470 is the better way anyone have any suggestions thanks mark

A5 to just past Corwen, A494 A4212, A487
2 hours 87.7 miles
Going by the much better A5
Put it on Google maps and they show 3 routs

I use this route with work, Hgv with a 45ft trailer so should not be a problem. Personally I would go this way, but it is upto you.

Going the 4212 route had a drive there today without caravan look gd thanks for everyones help
