Something missing here, like what is the car.
PS text speak is taboo on the forum. ;)
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
No the car is too light. Like we said in your other thread yesterday your caravan is too heavy.
You should be aiming for a caravan with an MTPLM of 85% of the car's kerbweight and your car has a max tow weight of 800kg anyway. As you can see from your weights above the unloaded caravan weighs more than 800kg and in fact weighs more than the car. This is definitely a non starter. You must not tow a trailer of any sort that weighs more than 800kg. It would be illegal and dangerous. You need to rethink this now and get a bigger, heavier car or a lighter caravan. You also need to consider if you have a post 1997 licence and the restrictions that imposes.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but better to find out now than after an accident.
You do need a bigger car! The 2 weights relate to different models but the max tow weight is 800kg for all models. You need a car over 1300kg with a towing limit of 1100kg or more.
Diesel Mondeo would be great and would allow you to tow a bigger caravan in the future. If you want something smaller then a Focus or Astra sized car would do if you had a diesel version. There are several engine versions of both these cars so you must check which version you are buying and make sure that the towing capacity is sufficient. We tow with a 1.6 diesel Focus with a towing capacity of 1200kg but some versions have a lower limit. It also depends on your budget.
