"The maximum trailer width for any towing vehicle is 2.55m.The maximum length is 7m for a trailer towed by a vehicle weighing up to 3.5 tonnes."
Does that mean that if your caravan is more than 7m long your towcar must weigh more than 3.5 tonnes?

7M is the length of the body excluding the drawbar.
If it is longer then the ruling above applies.

It should say excluding the drawbar.
