I have a stabilizer ball fitted to my car,my mate wants me to move his trailer for him,but he only has the normal greased hitch fitted on it,am I ok to move it for him.?

If you mean it's an ALKO tow ball then yes you can move his trailer. But make sure when you've finished, you thoroughly clean the grease off the ball otherwise it will get into the friction pads on your hitch and render them useless.

I keep a tin of brake cleaner spray in my car so I can clean the ball after I moved my horse box

Personally I wont go near a greased ball. Slightest bit and those pads creak and groan awful.............
