On a Hyundai Sante Fe the extending mirrors that clip on the lip are they safe...and do they scratch or mark paintwork...many thanks................

I haven't got a honda, but my clip on mirrors have never marked the mirrors.

If it's a Santa Fe you have like mine, I use Milenco Aeros with no problem.

We have a 2011 Santa Fe and use the Milenco Grand Aero's, no problem with them and been using them for more than 3 years and no scratches on the paintwork.
