We collected our new car yesterday a 2013 Mazda CX 5 AWD and need to get a towbar fitted and wondered if anyone else has this car and had a towbar fitted.
We would like a detachable one and have had a price for a westfalia towbar vehicle specific fitted on our driveway for £679 which seems a lot of money. We wonder if they Are worth the money and will it be fitted correctly?
Any advise would be good please.

Will it be fitted corrected will depend on the fitter and if he knows what he is doing.

You can get a detachable towbar for under £120, Thats with standard wiring.
The dedicated loom can add another £140 to that.

Westafalia towbar is £280. Not saure why thats so expensive compared to the other detachable ones?

Still charging £259 for fitting?   Thats seems expensive.

Looks a fairly straightforward fit. Very similar to my Mondeo one.
2 side arms bolt to the chassis rails then the rear cross beam bolts to those.

Slight clearance needed near the exhaust. Just drop the rubber hanger off and move it slightly as needed.
