We have had a motorhome for four years and have now decided to go back to a caravan. Why you may ask? Well, I like having a car with us.
We don't want to tow a car because you might as well tow a caravan.
We have just seen and been inside the new Bailey Unicorn Cadiz.(Twin beds, end washroom, single axle) We love the layout and especially the taller fridge. But....£20000!!!!
I want it, I really want it but do I need it?
TBH I am sure there are other lovely caravans with this layout that are a year or two years old and will not cost us £20000.
Does anyone own one and can recommend?
Thank you.
WHy don,t you look at an Adria Group same layouts just as good if not better and save between £3000--£5000 depends on model mine has huge electronic controlled fridge even has alarm fitted for gas or EHU failure.
Personally I don't think you'll regret changing.
There will be many second hand models for you to choose from.
My other half reckons there are only three things that are essential in a caravan - a large fridge, Alde heating and fixed bed/s.
Anything else is irrelevant

We have a rimini .
The same lay as the Cadiz out but not such high speck . I'm sure you will find a lot of these second hand now.
They are a very comfortable layout . The bathroom is small in ours but I like the fact that the wardrobe is not in the living area and cutting the van in half .
We found that motorhoming and caravanning are 2 different kinds of holidays.
With the motorhomes we tended to tour more and stayed on caravan sites for less time, usually just a couple of nights, whereas with the caravan we stay on the same site for a week or so before moving on, but tour that area in the car.
Ofcourse, when we towed the Moggy Minor behind the motorhome, we would stay longer, but the price of the motorhome made it a gie expensive set up just using it as we would a caravan.
