For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
Swap it for a mk4 much more refined and a wonderful drive.

Ford dealer. Noooo... I dont want to pay 100% more for them to have a coffee machine and posh carpets as they empty my wallet.
Usually buy from smaller traders who have bought direct from auction.
Thats only because of the auction fees for private buyers seems to have jumped over the years and i dont need to goto 20 and have someone bid 50p more than me.
Under £2500 for a 5 year old Mondeo. Thats what i paid last time.
5 years on i have put a few more miles on it that usual and fancy a change.
But nothing seems to compare to the all round package of the MK3 Mondeo.
Had a look at a MK4 today and the engine sounded a bit rattly. Expected it to be much quieter.
grampian91 main dealer for booklet not car .black fox ask if has had a new clutch in and if the injectors are ok .my numb brother in law bought a tdci 2 weeks ago with sold as seen started ok when he got it .got home next morning no go mate of mine had a look at it needs four injectors and the fuel lines and tank cleaning
Ive had my 52 plate estate since it was 2 years old. its done over 200k now and still looks and drives like a 2 year old car. went to france and Belgium with the van again this year with no issues.

I bought my 55 reg tiptronic auto TDCI a few yeas ago. Still feels like new but garage say the rear engine oil seal is going. Engine out job to replace.
I would have another like a shot but that oil seal worries me and I don't know what to look out for to spot if it is going on one I might buy.
The diesels go quite well. Whether its the 115 or 130 2L. The 2.2 is even better but insurance is a bit higher.
Been looking for something different, But nothing competes on the full package.
Some maybe quicker on a straight line but loses out on the handling or ride quality.
Several have similar power and performace yet the MPG people get in real life seems worse than the Mondeo.
