Was looking at cars to tow our max 750kg TT in passing, and Honda CRV (600 kg) or Mazda 5 were no good. Be careful.
But Clipper DL is 400kg max from a little research, and most of the new Polos have a minimum unbraked limit of 510. Of course depends on variants, but should be OK based on the little information provided.
