Hi, the Wife and I are looking to upgrade our tow vehicle. We currently tow a Senator Wyoming with a Kia Sedona. The Senator has a MTPLM of 1645 KG so we need a vehicle which weighs more than 1900 kg ideally.

The Kia is easily heavy enough and with the back seats removed has an enormous boot. The boot size is also important to us.

I'm struggling to find anything else that has this weight and boot size.

We test drove the Santa Fe yesterday, but the boot size is tiny in comparison with the big Kia.

Current Ford Galaxy 2.2 diesel is 90% match & plenty of power if you want another people carrier. Can't think of anything better than that.

Thanks, yes, seen that one but none in our price range etc. ideally looking for under 40,000 on the clock, under for years old, under £15,000.00. Just looking at the Hyundai i800. looks like it ticks all the boxes. Once you get over the fact it's a van, it is only a shade bigger in length and width to the Kia Sedona.

Try auto trader for the Galaxy vw or seat , all 3 are the same but 2 have vw engines

I tow with a Chrysler 300C estate - 2 tons kerbwieght, 3 litre V6 diesel. Pulls like a train. £200 fully comp.

rear seats fold flat giving a floor length of 6 feet!
