Well after getting the back arms replaced and new front tyres my car has stopped drifting but the wheel stills shakes above 60mph. After my mechanic has again spent a lot of time looking for the cause of this I took my car back to the tyre supplier today to check the balancing and they haven't been balanced properly they sorted it and the shaking has stopped. Why is it so many motor trade outfits do defective work. I paid good money for new tyres so that I could rule out any tyre, wheel or balancing issues. Because the car shamed before and after getting the tyres fitted I had to assume it was something else. Still haven't got to the bottom of a thudding\rattle noise coming from rear of car when at low speed. Eventually I will get there.
RE thudding/rattling,that could be your exhaust being loose,if the fitters disturbed it when replacing the other parts, some exhausts are held in place with rubber loops,if one has been left off, that could be the problem,(I'll get my coat shall I)
glad you got it sorted Boston600 told you that stuff worked, your carpet will dry out now this summer and everything will be fine.
been in my daughters car for 12 months now and no issues
