Hi,
This has got me stumped!!!! I have just purchased a Bailey senator 6 (2009). I went to collect it sat and when we hooked it all up there were no brake lights on caravan, all other lights worked ok. Did all the usual checks, plugs, wires bulbs all ok. Plugged caravan into both another vehicle and the on site test rig.....all lights including brakes ok!!!!! So thought problem with my vehicle..... Plugged my truck in to 2 other vans 1 with twin plug and another with 13 pin and all lights work. I have tried 2 different 13 pin adaptors(my vehicle has 2 7 pin plugs) still no brake lights. My vehicle is 2015 mitsubishi l200. I have checked the continuity and the voltage to the back lights all is good and I have nice low resistance on the earth circuit.....this is starting to make my head hurt!!!!!! Any ideas please??????

Has your vehicle got LED brake lights? Sometimes this can affect things.

No LED just standard bulbs. Not done too much messing with the truck as its a lease vehicle, tow bar was fitted New. Have seen it work correctly on 2 other vans, 1 was a few years old the other brand new. To make things even more confusing I disconnected the brake/tail light to test voltage at connections and Bing the 3 remaining brakes light up when circuit was connected through multi meter. Put it all back together....no brake lights. I could understand if my vehicle had the same fault on the other vans we plugged it in to but it worked spot on..have checked all the wiring in the van and all seems ok...which is confirmed as all lights work spot on when on another vehicle....just got the problem when I hook the 2 together. It's probably something very simple to sort but I'm just going round in circles and getting nowhere!!!!!
