Has anyone got any ideas what i can use as markers so her indoors can practise reversing.Im teaching her how to tow and traffic cones are too big and expensive.I need something visible and cheap that wont damage the van.I tow all the time but if i get injured or get ill while we are away then we are stuffed unless she can handle it.I suppose a 28 foot van is not the best thing to learn with but after all that is whats behind the car

I taught my self to reverse not perfect and very often we hi hitch and still use our motor mover.
I always did this on a site when we arrived . There is always a lot of space and not much to bump into . Also you don't have to rush . I found this brilliant . I still reverse if possible or try to .
Have a look on you tube for what to do or sometimes it is usefull if someone can guide you . If they know left hand from right hand .

Fill empty 4pt milk containers with water and a drop of cheap kids bright coloured water paint inside, they make good markers and are used by playgroups to mark out kids games in the garden ect.

If you want to get really artistic, then paint the outsides of them with vinyl emusion paint and put reflective orange tape around them. If you prefare them a bit higher, fill with sand in the bottom one and stack them up using fine garden canes as dowls!

mansfield is not that far from you.Im very good at reversing with the caravan.thats why i dont have a motor mover.But her indoors need to learn the basics just incase.Ive been towing for 30 years inc trailers.Thankyou all for some great advice and ideas
