Hi
I am new in camping area,i've got an bailey caravan of 1042kg(laden),and i am towing it with an vw jetta 2.0 diesel 140bhp.
My question is am i doing it wright, can this car tow my caravan or not?
The caravan weight its 83% of the car kerb weight, the caravan(laden) it is not heavier then the car(unladen).
I looked on internet for conditions to tow(nose weight, kerb weight....) and i think its all ok for this combination, but for some reason my car(jetta) keep breaking down,i had lots of problems with it,so now i wonder is it because the caravan its too heavy for the car,or i've got a s__t car?
