Never had bikes, but was with rac for years and one day had a puncture in caravan on the main drag out of whitby on the moors, rang rac and they said the caravan was'nt covered, i was in recovery but they could not attend because it was the caravan that was broken down. I argued with them saying that i only wanted the patrol to undue my wheel nuts as they had been put on with an air wrench, and also i was in a dangerous situation, eventually they did send a patrol.
I packed them up on my next renewal, and am with a company that does the lot even home start and wife's car included for about £100,00, no more arguments with the rac
