The jacking point according to the manual on my van is on the axle behind the wheel. to physically get to this point sliding underneath and then trying to jack the van up laid down seems an impossible task.I thought about fitting a kojack ,but the motormover is fitted at the front of the wheels ,and the pre drilled holes in the Alko chassis do not allow the brackets to be fitted as the mudguards are in the way .I have been advised not to drill the chassis ,but even if i did it would be around it would be around 2 foot off center due to the spare wheel holder. So i wondered how everyone else manages or can you just pick any point on the chassis and jack up.Any ideas would be appreciated
You will probably have thicker steel section that holds axle and is right angled under chassis. A bottle or trolley jack can be placed under that near to axle as possible.
i have a small trolly jack which i use, can reach the chassis behind the wheels and mover no problem. REMEMBER if jacking up caravan make sure it is hooked onto the car as it would be unstable otherwise
One issue with trolley jacks is taking the risk of them possibly slipping. One unofficial but well documented remedy for this is using a rubber ice hockey puck placed on the trolley jack head. With our van which has an old style non lightweight chassis I cut a groove into the puck of approx 1 cm deep by the width of the rail and fit this onto the trolley jack cup before jacking.
I have also cut one to fit the sill on our mondeo to spread the weight and contact area to save risking any damage. People have apparently used them on 3 tonne plus vehicles and our 1600kg mondeo doesn't deform the rubber in any way.

I have solved my minor jacking point problem .The older model kojack brackets are different to the new ones.Where the new brackets come off the chassis in an L shape the older models come off the chassis in a T shape hence do not catch the mudguards, Thanks to all kind enough to reply
I can't believe they don't fit a jack and jacking points like cars. I had to buy the alko ones and even then I had to modify the bracket one side to fit it as Bailey in their wisdom decided to exit the boiler drain in exactly the same space as the bracket fits.
