Hi hope someone can help. I am after a towbar for a thule 2 bike rack for me kia picanto 1l city and wondered where the best place in manchester was. I also believe you need to get kia specific wiring for it or you will invalidate the warranty. Can anyone help?

I don't think you can fit a towbar to a Picanto. Check with a dealer first but Kia just quite n/a against all toe bar weights which would suggest you can't use one at all.

You can get one for a kia picanto I've checked. It's only for a bike rack.

I would fit car specific wiring, yes. Any problems caused by aftermkt wiring not approved by Kia will not be covered under vehicle warranty but towbar fitting co. Should warranty their own work.

Have you checked with Kia the car is type approved for a tow bar? I don't think it is from what I can see. Worth double checking.

Contrary to the above advice you have been given, a KIA Picanto can have a tow bar fitted AND can tow a caravan.
I own a 57 plate Picanto GS and I tow a Freedom Microlite with her. Not very fast but can keep up a steady 50 although I must admit steep hills do slow me down a bit

This document has all the technical specs for the Picanto. Having owned one, I'm not sure I would want to tow with it, although sticking some bikes on the back I've done in the past. Kia Picanto Specs

Interesting figures on the Picanto spec sheet. A max noseweight of 28kg would make it difficult to use a 2 bike rack and carry 2 bikes on it.
