Anyone use one (Toyota Landcruiser) to tow a conentional caravan? If so, why?

I assume op is worried about hard suspension on Landcruiser doing damage to caravan & askes for advice as to whether shock link should be fitted on towbar? Now you know you can advise him Grampian, you know about stuff like that.
