Can anyone give me advice or links to wiring a tow bar? The caravan is as on the new connector instructions but the car side is totally different? not simple colours as described but like white/black, green/black, grey/black etc. thats in the car side (new connector)

I've messed about so much I'm demented and am crap with a vol meter :( I've looked all over the net & searched in here with no success.
I'm going to a festival tomorrow morning so need it sorted asap :'(

What socket(s) do you have on the car and what plug(s) on the caravan?

I've managed to get lights, brakes and indicators, fook the rest til after the festival lol

I'll post the proper findings for others next week...

I have a similar problem that I hope someone can help with,When I connect to the caravan and test the lights,everything works(indicators,brake lights etc)but the nearside running lights don't work, rear,side,front.
Looked at the wiring on the car 12N plug and they're not the same colour as shown in the charts,same goes for the 12S plug,only started doing it recently,wondered if a blown fuse is responsible.

Do you have a multi meter and the confidence to use it cos you just need a diagram of the plug pins so you can check the continuity of each circuit?

Then the wire colours are immaterial.
