We have a 62 reg Sorento KX2 which has been totally reliable and a brilliant tug. Prior to our current holiday in France, it had its 3 year service and first mot,no problem.
We asked the dealer to look at some small patches of corrosion on 2 of the alloy wheels and the rear badge, and see if Kia would authorise the wheels being repainted.
We got a call this week telling us Kia will replace all 4 wheels and the badge under warranty, they will call us when the parts arrive.
Very impressed, so the 7 yearcwarranty is good.
Thanks Kia good customer service(and Furrows Telford!)
------------- DS-There's more to life than football!!!
I got a 10 plate Sedona in 2012. Last year (so by then, it was 4 years old) the silver coating on an internal door handle started peeling slightly... new handle fitted.
Trouble with the side (electric/sliding) door... complete new inner workings, inc. motor.
All on warranty.
So similar good customer service at NK Motors, Derby.
Liking this, we've just bought 2011 Sorento, one of the reasons for this was the 3 year warranty left on it.
Had them fit a towbar as have rear parking sensors so hopefully will be ok when we go away at the weekend.
All we need now is for the weather to be a bit kinder to us.
Can't fault Hyundai five year warranty.
I have a 62 plate Santa Fe and about a month ago had over six grand worth of work done under warranty, this included a full set of alloys.
Pretty sure I know what I will be going for come change over time.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
We had an 11 plate Santa Fe from new and have just replaced it with a Kia Sorento on a 14 plate, both excellent tow vehicles and the warranty gives peace of mind should anything unfortunately go wrong.
