i saw this pic that was posted on another forum this morning a guy came home from nightshift to find this scaffolding bar attached to his hitch with another hitch on the end. They didnt take his van they must have been disturbed and the police were informed. but im just making others aware of the lengths thieves are going to
There is obviously nothing these scum would/will not try.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I guess the DM had to work hard to find a victim of caravan theft who had been daft enough not to insure a modern caravan. While one must not victim blame its mainly a story of the importance of having insurance.
you are crazy if you dont have caravan insurance. you can never fully stop the thieves but if i lost my beloved van and couldnt afford a replacement without insurance id be more devastated. At least with insurance peace of mind same with my car insurance.
Wasn't until I started reading it I thought it sounded familiar, then realised it was two years old.
Still think it was a bit of an over estimate price wise.

A bit, a bloody lot over priced, it was a series 5 senator single axle, a seriers 6 biggest single axle only cost £16,360 ???
I was speaking to a guy on a site last week who had a van stolen off his front drive including wheel clamp and hitch.
The police rang him earlier this year to tell him they had found his van and could he come and identify it.
He said it was the insurance,s van now and not his( gave insurance company to police) insurance company said would pay his expenses if he would travel and identify van. checked van over and told police it was his stolen van by several damage marks and mods he'd done. but chris marks did not match on all windows.
The gang that nicked van had swopped like for like windows between several vans (said they had bought windows from scrapper yard) and where renting vans out on several sites.
How police found out I was not told
