Here's a question my erde 122 has 2 ratings plates one aluminium on the front chassis on the UK passenger side with among other info

I 400kg
II 75kg

So by that gives 325 kg payload

Then a white vinyl label on the left chassis leg
PTAC 400kg
PV 65kg

Giving 335kg





OK its only 10kg. But I'm curious as to which is the one DVSA / the police would use as it confused my HGV driver friend as as he says they are very black and white text book when it comes to been overloaded

Camping I'm never close but trips to the builders merchant I'm very cautious as 13 25 kg bags of sand is 325 kg which I'm sure many who buy these things from Halfords are blissfully unaware of ..

400kg gross weight, 400kg axle weight because its a single axle and 75kg noseweight.

If your pushing it that close to the limit then getting it weighed maybe a good idea.

I wouldnt trust the plate to be 100% accurate. They will take a few off the line and weight them and come up with an average.

I hooked my trailer up last spring, filled with all the kit I tow and went along to the local refuse depot..
It was easy to get it weighed and it came in well under the 750kg trailer capacity but still enough to set me thinking about a braked trailer!

There will be somewhere locally you could do the same. Set your mind at ease.

PTAC is French for gross weight of trailer, so max loaded weight of trailer & load is 400kg. PV is French for empty trailer weight(poids vide)ie 65kg. So you have max load of 335kg. The 75kg is max noseweight I would think.
