Hi all,
I've been thinking of purchasing a Volvo v70 (around a 2014 or 2015)and have seen plenty of old discussions asking if people had towed with the D4 or D5 but as they were posted a while ago there doesn't seem to be many people replied that actually tow with them. Is anybody out there towing with one. The van I'm looking to buy weighs in at 1550kgs. The D4 is good for 1800kgs and the D5 is good for 2000kgs. Both cars kerbweight is about 1800kgs. I was wondering if there was any noticeable difference between them when towing.
If there is little difference between them then the D4 is the one due to good MPG and cheaper road tax. I've been on the website called outfit match and according to them there's no difference.
