Yes as the ball diameter is a standard 50 mm. However, as your Dad has an Al-ko towball he will most likely have a caravan with a stabiliser hitch which needs to be 100% grease free otherwise it will contaminate the internal friction pads which will then have to be replaced. As the trailer tent has a standard hitch then a smear of grease will need to be applied prior to hitching up so ensure that the grease is wiped clean and sprayed with an appropriate spray cleaner such as brake and clutch cleaner (not brake fluid).
