When my previous car was scrapped I forgot to remove the car plate / bracket for my Mobray Leisure Bruna XL leaf stabiliser.
I am trying to source another. There seem to be various types available - mainly snakemaster or bulldog branded.

Does anybody know if these or any others are compatible with mine which has a Damper pivot bracket with the measurements of 32mm x 12mm?

My old snakemaster is 38mm x 12.5mm. Probably just as cheap to pickup a used stabiliser. Just cut one up because your lucky to get £5 for one and the metal was worth more.

Probably still got another in the shed that will chopped up for another project.

Little demand for them.

There are granted a few on Ebay but not many come with the car plate. I also know the one I have is still sound.

Hi, take stabiliser with you to a caravan centre our local centre has various non original car plates to choose from I would expect you to get sorted. AL

The car plate for the Mowbray stabiliser has an aperture of 35mm. x 13mm., which is smaller than for most other makes of leaf stabiliser. Plates with a larger aperture allow too much play to engage securely.

I have a Mowbray QR which I no longer need, and you are welcome to have the car plate from it if you can't source one locally.

Humberwolf - If that is a serious offer I would be happy to pay the postage costs or arrange a courrier. I am guessing you are Hull or area based - lived there 10 years but now in Milton Keynes which is a bit far to pick up.

Skoda Bob - I have an old Abbey rallyman circa 1992 - don't think it is worth replacing the hitch on. Need the plate so it can be fitted at the same time as my new towbar by the fitter.
