Hi can anyone tell me whether these two are within limits for towing? Parkers give the Citroen as 1410 kg and Dotcom say the jet weight of the towbar needs to be at least 1377 kgs to achieve an 85% match, a car weighing less than 1171 kgs is likely to be illegal. Sounds straightforward enough? Thanks in advance (Bailey Pageant Majestic year 2000)

Your V5 registration document should give some weights. Also a plate probably under the bonnet on the car will give some more. Post these up.

Also need the braked trailer maximum tow weight for the car.

Also post the MTPLM of the caravan.

2011 Berlingo has 1300kg max tow weight & 70kg towbar weight limit. Mk3 Berlingo 2008-10 had 55kg towbar weight. After that it was 70kg until current facelift models which have 56kg limit.

You might need to know which Berlingo it is. With the Pug Partner, they do a 75hp engine with a lower max tow.

My Partner 115HP is 1300kg and 70kg nose weight.

The one in the test is an 08 model.

I have a 2005 1.9 non hdi partner and it has 1100kg limit, although the 75 hp version I have probably wouldn't move with a caravan on the back.
