When I arrived at Black Horse Farm, Folkstone, going to France I was amazed to find that the bracket holding the 12s and 12n sockets was broken and had been just supported by by Cable Ties that I use to keep the trailing leads from the road. Never come across this problem before. The bracket was plastic and can only assume a mixture of uv exposure and speed bumps had caused the bracket to break. Luckily I am in the RAC they came and did a temporary secure fix with cable ties which lasted the holidays and return to the UK. Surprised that Witter use plastic brackets but will add this to my pre towing checks in future. The speed bumps at Black Horse Farm are high (temporary ones at entrance to site). This is just a heads up for anyone interested. Incidentally the staff at Black Horse Farm were most helpful and the RAC mechanic who attended was an ex towbar fitter and very competent.
