Just got this and it tows fantasticly room for bikes in back and no probs at ccc site , brilliant family all rounder .

2500 max braked trailer weight so my little adria with a max weight of 1200 kg shouldnt pose a problem also the vans max loaded weight is 2900 kg . Maybe the sports different .

Just checked brochure the lowest max braked trailer weight is the kombi with 2100 kg

Could I ask which of the 2.2l engines powers (or used to power) your transit custom? I'm thinking of getting one and am wondering if the 100PS engined Custom is a good choice. My van is about 150Kg heavier than your Adria, but I wouldn't have thought that it would make too much difference.

We did have a look at the Transit Custom and was very impressed with them, they look ideal as a tow vehicle with stability control and hill start , and a lot of other stuff they come with, Our deciding factor was because there is just the two of us my wife wanted something a bit smaller, we eventually decided on a Kuga,Both vehicles share the same engine and a lot of other parts.
