Hi, I have recently brought a rundown caravan online, a 1.5 ton trailer. I have since took the caravan top of and left myself with just the chassis. I would like to know what I have to do to make my caravan road legal. What i hope to eventually make is a mobile bar!! 😀

It has to comply with UK construction & use regulations to be road legal. No mot tests for caravans & non Hgv sized trailers so it is for builder to ensure it is road legal. All info you will need is searchable online.

Thanks for the help' but struggling to find the construction and use regulations. Are they just making sure that the lights are correct, weight, dimensions and brakes etc.. Many thanks josh

Google 'trailer lighting regulations'. Here for example. Google 'trailer construction and use regulations'. All info is searchable online. Just put obvious search terms into google but ensure you are on UK websites not US or Australian etc.
