We are looking for a bigger car to replace our elderly Berlingo. It needs to be able to fit in surfboards, bales of straw etc, kayaks on top and pull a folding camper! So, nothing too posh but we do need bags of space and don't mind what it looks like. We love our Berlingo but it's not quite big enough for 4 of us and all our stuff when we go on holiday. Any ideas? Thanks
We just got rid of our Berlingo as our Dispatch LW van made it redundant. We use for much same as you. We hot the panel van but had 2 rear seats fitted, the bulkhead reduced to just behind driver, windows on side doors, anti spill shelves on one side & insulated & lined. We've also fitted a Fiamma wind-out awning & the 3 detachable side panels. Curgently at a MTB race venue sat in the awning out of the rain with our small tent pitched outside.

February C&CC Theobalds Park
March C&CC Salisbury
May C&CC Adgestone IOW
July Le Clos Auroy, Auvergne France
August C&CC Polstead
August C&CC Oxford
October C&CC Lauder
Take a look at the Hyundai i800, take the 3rd row of seats out and it'll hold what you want plus seat 5, it'll also tow your trailer tent like it's not there!

Newer Berlingos are bigger I think?
Quite a bit bigger I would say, although I haven't seen them side by side. There is one just up the road from me with some sort of camper conversion and it does look very smart it has to be said!
